Here's what we usually get asked
We review what's going on, run a physical assessment, and walk you through a plan. No surprises, it's a conversation first.
Any scans or referral letters you have, your private health card if you're claiming, and clothing you can move comfortably in.
45 to 60 minutes, so you've got time to actually be heard, not rushed through.
We accept private health (HICAPS on the spot), Medicare Chronic Disease Management plans, and direct payment.
Don't worry about choosing, our practitioners work together and can point you the right way once we know what's going on. If you've got more specific questions before your appointment, just give us a call on 8041 0762
No, you can book directly with us.
It depends on your injury, goals and starting point. After your first assessment, we’ll give you a clear plan and an idea of what your recovery may look like.
Usually not. We’ll assess you first and let you know if imaging or further investigation is actually needed.
Not at all. We work with everyone from everyday aches and injuries to runners, gym-goers and competitive athletes.
All of our allied health practitioners are equipped to assess and help with your injury. If you’re still unsure, give reception a call and a member of our team can guide you to the right practitioner.
Absolutely. You can book for pain, niggles, performance concerns, injury prevention or simply to get guidance on your training.
Not usually. Most of the time we keep you running, just adjusted, rather than telling you to stop completely but of course this is case specific.
A plan. Rest alone rarely fixes a running injury long term, we look at what's actually driving it.
Both. We look at what you're doing week to week, not just the injury itself, since load is usually part of why it started.
